Bass Drum Smackdown!
2013-11-07 12:58:04 EST I was once opening for a band called Mad Staring Eyes and I was sitting down playing acoustic guitar for the first five songs. The sixth involved standing up but, in the meantime my foot had gone to sleep. Consequently, when I stood up I ended up crashing through the headliners' drumkit face first. This did not go down so well with the band or the people running the gig, who took this as a cue to ask if I was drunk. Naturally I was but I didn't tell them!
